Dr. Freecloud's is turning 30 years old this December 10th. Since 1994 when we first opened for business in Costa Mesa, we've done and accomplished so much during these years. We've been in 4 different locations starting with location no. 1 off of 19th St. in Costa Mesa at the end of the 55 Freeway. Location no. 2 was at The Lab Anti Mall in Costa Mesa. Location no. 3 took us out of Costa Mesa and a new beginning in the city of Fountain Valley off of Brookhurst St. in the Ebisu market and ramen shopping center. Our current location no. 4 in Fountain Valley, Savers Thrift Store (Magnolia Plaza) center. We modified our store name at each location but always remained Dr. Freecloud's. For those of you that have known us all these years, you know all the ups and downs we went through on this journey, and to our newer customers we appreciate all the support. The first 10 years in business we were 100% new releases of dance vinyl catering to DJ's, collectors and ravers. After the move to Fountain Valley we were in survival mode and we made some major changes and upgrades to our business to survive and eventually thrive. We decided to bring in used vinyl and carry all music genres, not just all dance any more, we brought in all of it ex: (Rock, Indie, Soul, Jazz, Funk, Punk, 80's, Hip Hop, Reggae, Classical, Pop, Country, Disco, Metal, New Wave and more). Now we are truly a proper indie that represents all music genres and what makes us different and better than our competition is we kept our dance vinyl selection with new and used dance music vinyl. Helen and I along with our son Zy look forward to seeing all of you this December for the big "30" party here at our store.
